Affinity is excited to announce that Ben Long has joined our team as a Systems Administrator on our Support Team! In this role, he will work with Affinity’s clients to ensure the smooth operation, efficiency, and security of their systems.
Ben comes to us after serving as a Sr. Help Desk Specialist at Churchill Mortgage. He also has experience serving clients in diverse environments as a Systems Administrator at a managed services provider. He holds an AAS in Computer Information Systems from Laramie Community College, as well as CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications.
“Ben’s strong technical background and experience—not to mention his communication skills—make him an excellent fit for our Support Team. Ben fits right in with our mission to delight our clients by providing an excellent experience,” says Betsy Wright, Affinity’s VP of Operations.
Ben, a native of Wyoming, became fascinated with technology at a young age. An interest in PC gaming led him to build his first computer at the age of 14. Outside of work, Ben’s hobbies include mountain biking, and he is an aficionado of great coffee.
“From my first phone interview and up until now, there has been a strong emphasis on taking care of the customer and communicating with them,” says Ben of his experience so far at Affinity. “I think this is what excites me the most since I can tell that there is a strong team that has been built to do just that. Everything is planned out carefully with the customer in mind and that makes it easy for me to be as helpful as possible.”
