3/15 Office 365 Outages: Teams, Outlook, and Other Apps Affected

*Update as of 3/16: As of this morning, Microsoft is reporting that its services are largely back online, with most of the issues resolved. You should be able to utilize Office 365 apps, including Teams and Outlook, as normal today. If you encounter any issues, first try restarting the app. If the issues persist, don't hesitate to contact our Support Team.


This afternoon, Microsoft reported that some recent changes to how Microsoft Office 365 handles authentication, portions of its services are currently down for users worldwide. Most affected currently are Microsoft Teams and Outlook, where users are reporting intermittent outages or degradation of services.

If your company is utilizing Office 365, know that you may experience some issues with these services this afternoon. Microsoft initially reported that service would be restored within 15 minutes, but has said that restoration is taking longer than initially anticipated.

Microsoft is posting frequent updates via their Microsoft 365 Updates Twitter handle.

Service will likely be restored soon; however, if the issue persists, we will reach out with further updates as Microsoft releases them.
